Meet the artist
Swen Schmitz Coll (Freiburg, 1995)
Rooted in Catalonia since the first summer, he is the son of a leafy garden, an open field and a wet undergrowth.
He finds inspiration and answers in Nature (in capital letters). Enjoys walking the trails and expanding the horizons, ascending mountains and climbing trees. He believes the way our relationship is with Nature, which gives us so much, will be the relationships between us and with ourselves.
He illustrates small formats and paints large walls. He likes to keep the proportions, starting from the smallness of the human being in the composition of the biodiversity that surrounds us and admiring the beauty all around.
He gets excited by meeting good people and enjoys the sincere bonds they build.

Arrelat a Catalunya des del primer estiu, és fill d’un jardí frondós, d’un camp obert i d’un sotabosc humit.
Troba en la Natura (en majúscules) inspiració i respostes. Gaudeix recorrent els camins i ampliant els horitzons, trescant muntanyes i grimpant pels arbres. Creu que així com sigui la relació amb la natura, que tant ens brinda, seran les relacions entre nosaltres i amb un mateix.
Il·lustra petits formats i pinta grans parets. Li agrada mantenir les proporcions, partint de la petitesa de l’ésser humà en la composició de la biodiversitat que ens envolta i admirant la bellesa arreu.
S’entusiasma coneixent bones persones i gaudeix els vincles sincers, que construeixen.
